Basil makes great Endurnace and Recovery Food

Last night we ate some frozen pesto from last years garden.

Was made with:
-Globe basil
-Nutritional Yeast
-Raw almonds
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Black pepper

Pump up a serving a pasta with a nice scoop of this and feel great tomorrow

This is the frozen pesto- defrosted as the whole wheat penne cooked.

200 calories
19 g of good fat and 14-15 grams of protein
Plus plenty of Vtamin A, C and iron.
