I love the summer and the abundance of fresh veggies at farmers market. With my current diet and eating plans this makes Saturday a day in Nirvana. Looking forward to the next weekend but fearing the coming fall and the end of the local produce.
Looking into a way to store fresh stuff for winter eating- will do some freezing, maybe drying and canning. At least for now I will enjoy.
Getting creative with eggplant- love it when it is big and hard and almost ripe so the flesh is very firm and perfect for the grill.
I wonder if Baba Ghannouj will freeze. if so I can grill a bunch and make a lot of that wonderful mix for Christmas parties and Super Bowl dipping..
